Description

It is a pure honey produced by the honeybee, mainly from the byproduct of Fir Aphids (Cinara Pectinatae) living on older White Fir trees, which is the most productive tree type for the production of Honeydew. Honey has a thick and smooth consistency, it is dark amber to black-brown color, and it has a delicious and pleasant buttery and moderate sweet taste, with pleasant caramel-nut aromas and resin-light balsamic aroma.

Properties

With its antibacterial properties, and strong regenerative abilities it operates highly preventive and has increasingly been applied by physicians in clinical trials at times when a bacterial infection persistently and increasingly build resistance to antibiotics. Its antibacterial properties can be compared with New Zealand’s Manuka honey. The healing properties originate from its high level of antioxidants that prevent the growth of pathogenic bacteria, mold, fungi, yeast and effectively helps in cell regeneration, tissue repair; it suppress inflammation by stimulating the production of leukocytes that helps with joint pain, burns, psoriasis, eczema, rashes, migraine, dyspepsia, and diarrhea. It is also very effective against bacteria - Helicobacter pylori, which causes stomach ulcers.

Honey quality certification

At the present our medical grade Honey is going through and extensive microbiological analyzes by the accredited German laboratory Quality Services International GmbH. The laboratory is testing its antibacterial activity UMF (Unique Manuka Factor) by a method developed at the University of Waikato. In addition to this parameter the honey will be analyzed for water content, electrical conductivity, HMF (hydroxymethylfurfural) and content of pollen.
